I tested the Tikom G8000 Max in a mid-sized household with a mix of hard floors, rugs, and medium-pile carpets. From the start, its 5000Pa suction stood out. It picked up pet hair, fine dust, and crumbs with ease, especially in high-traffic areas and along baseboards.

What makes this unit practical is its ability to vacuum and mop in one pass. The dustbin and water tank combo allowed for efficient maintenance cleaning—great for keeping floors presentable on a daily basis. The mopping function is basic but helps lift surface grime, especially on tile and laminate.

Battery life was another strong point. In quiet mode, the G8000 Max ran for just over two hours before returning to the dock. That was more than enough to clean around 1,200 square feet in a single session. It also reliably resumed cleaning after charging when needed.

I tested all four control methods—app, remote, voice assistant, and onboard button—and found the app and remote most useful. The app interface is functional, though a bit limited in customization options. Still, setting up schedules and switching modes was easy.

With a low profile of under three inches, the robot fit under couches, beds, and dressers without getting stuck. It navigated around furniture legs and avoided stairs thanks to responsive sensors. It also transitioned smoothly across floor types without losing suction or getting caught.

The Tikom G8000 Max offers an effective and convenient cleaning solution for homes with pets, hard floors, and low to medium carpets. While its mopping feature is more of a light-duty touch-up, the vacuuming power and smart navigation make it a strong contender in its price range.
